Description

Five miles south of Yellowstone’s north entrance lies Mammoth Hot Springs. What was once Fort Yellowstone is still home to park headquarters, and historic buildings from the days of the Fort. The steamy limestone terraces and hot springs that lend to the locations’ name stand tall, overlooking the hotel and visitor facilities.
