Directions:

Yellowstone’s main park roads form a “figure eight,” with spurs heading out from the “eight” to the five park entrances. For reference purposes, the “eight” is divided into an upper and lower loop.

From Madison Junction, drive 16 miles/ 26 kilometers south along with main park road (west side-lower loop) to Old Faithful Village.

From West Thumb Junction, drive 17 miles/27 kilometers west along the main park road (south side-lower loop) to Old Faithful Village.

Overall, Old Faithful is 51 miles/82 kilometers from Mammoth Hot Springs, 38 miles/61 kilometers from the Lake Village, 39 miles/62 kilometers from the South Entrance and 30 miles/48 kilometers from the West Entrance.

The dining room at Old Faithful Inn, just like the Inn itself, has huge popularity! The gnarled logs and huge stone fireplace create an instant ambiance that is like nowhere else.

Description

The menu is varied, offering delicious options for most any taste and budget. The lunchtime Western Buffet is a great value, and quick for those who want to spend most of their day outside. For a more leisurely lunch and dinner, the selection ranges from salads to steaks, and from sandwiches to fresh fish. Dinnertime also includes our signature buffet loaded with favorites including prime rib of beef!

Another popular gathering spot is the Bear Pit Lounge. Adorned with etched glass panels inspired by the original wooden Bear Pit Murals, the lounge offers a pleasant locale for a drink, appetizers and fond recollections of the day.

*Advanced dinner reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 1-866-GEYSERLAND (1-866-439-7375). Dinner reservations can be made beginning May 1 for the following year with Old Faithful Inn room reservations and 60 days in advance without Old Faithful Inn room reservations.

Breakfast and lunch are on a first-come, first-seated basis.
