Description

Yellowstone's winter scenery is awsome and in some cases unlike anything else in the world but for many people Yellowstone is all about wildlife. The white background creates a perfect background for showing off the critters that are out there (with a few exceptions like the Snowshoe Hare and the Ermine that change color to match their white world). Our guides do a lot of networking with others in the field to do their best to assure that they get you to where the critters are.

Clothing/Equipment

Although our buses/vans are heated, the wildlife watching stops along the way from start to finish necessitate warmer footwear and clothing (hand and foot warmers can really help keep you comfortable while outside).  There is a spotting scope onboard the van so that you can see the animals better but if you have binoculars this is a good time to bring them along.
