Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel: Winter

Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel is open for winter December 20, 2011 - March 5, 2012.

In winter, Mammoth is the only visitor accommodations in Yellowstone accessible by automobile and is a hub of snowy adventures, offering Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and a launching point for over-snow explorations of the park's interior.

Services and activities are plentiful and designed to maximize winter recreation and exploration. Located near the North Entrance, Mammoth Hotel elevation is approximately 6200 feet.

Daylight hours range (approximate): 8:00 am - 4:30 pm in late December 7:00 am - 5:30 pm by early March

Please note that all park accommodations are non-smoking and reflecting the natural surroundings of Yellowstone; televisions, radios, air conditioning are not available. Internet service is available for purchase in the Lounge & Restaurant. Wheelchair accessible accommodations are available on a limited basis.

Hotel Rooms

Hotel Rooms are simple yet comfortable rooms with telephones, shower or tub, sink and toilet. Usually two queen beds are included.

Rooms with Shared Bath

Rooms with a shared bath are similar in decor to rooms with bath. Shared bathrooms with private showers are available down the hall. Telephones and vanity sinks in each room. Usually two queen beds are included.

Suites

Suites offer one private bedroom with two queen beds and a sitting room with couch, chairs, telephone and cable TV. Only two are available.

Current Rate Disclaimer

Lodging rates are per night, for up to two adults and do not include tax or utility fee. Most rooms available online allow two to four people per room. Larger room sizes may be available.
