Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins: Winter Accommodations
Old Faithful Snow Lodge will be open for winter December 18, 2010 - March 6, 2011. The Geyser Grill will remain open until March 13, 2011
In winter, Old Faithful Snow Lodge offers a truly unique experience.
From this snowy haven, you can set out on a variety of explorations, either on your own or with one of our knowledgeable guides.
Take one of many different snowcoach tours - like one to the Canyon area, where you will find the famous, frozen Lower Falls. Rent some skis or snowshoes, and explore any number of trails, of all different ability levels - with a guide, or without. Enjoy the fire as you sip a hot beverage in our lounge, while the snow falls lazily outside.
No matter what you choose, you will never forget your winter visit to the Old Faithful Snow Lodge. Old Faithful Snow Lodge elevation is approximately 7300 feet.

In winter access to the Snow Lodge is by National Park Service approved over the snow transportation only. Reservations must be made in advance 866-GEYSERLAND (866-439-7375) or 307-344-7311. Please note that all park accommodations are non-smoking and reflecting the natural surroundings of Yellowstone; televisions, radios, air conditioning, and Internet hook-ups are not available. Wheelchair accessible accommodations are available on a limited basis.

Lodge Rooms
Located in the Snow Lodge building, western lodge-style furnishings create a stunning impression with their wildlife adornments and features. Full bathrooms and telephones are located in all the rooms.
Accessible Lodge Rooms
Accessible lodge rooms offer the same look as the standard lodge rooms, except the are all located on the ground floor with specially designed roll-in showers and accessible toilets and sinks.
Western Cabins
These motel-style units were built in 1989 and are situated in modules of four. Each is spacious and modernly furnished, typically with two queen size beds and full bathroom.
Accessible Western Cabins
The accessible western cabins are similar to standard western cabins except they offer an accessible bathtub with handrails and portable shower-hose attachment and accessible toilet, sink and entry ramp outside.
Frontier Cabins
Duplex motel-style units are simple but comfortable with a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
