Old Faithful Snow Lodge Dining: Obsidian Dining Room & Geyser Grill

Dedicated in 1999, the newest full-service hotel in the park has been recognized with the prestigious Cody Award for Western Design. Dining options in the Snow Lodge carry the distinctive wildlife motif throughout their design, while offering a variety of food service styles.

Obsidian Dining Room

The Obsidian Dining Room offers dining in a captivating western lodge environment. The full-service dining room seats 106.  The restaurant offers breakfast and dinner and such specialties as Braised Bison Short Ribs and Wild Alaska Salmon.  

Summer Dates & Hours of Operation:

• May 1 - Breakfast October 18, 2009
• Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
• Breakfast Buffet: 6:30 a.m. -  10:30 a.m.
• Dinner: 5:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Dinner reservations are not accepted during the summer season.  Dinner is first come, first seated.

Winter Dates & Hours of Operation:

• December 18, 2009 – March 7, 2010
• Geyser Grill   December 18 – March 14,2010
• Breakfast- 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
• Dinner- 5:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. (reservations required)

Breakfast and lunch are on a first-come, first-seated basis.

Dress code is casual.

Geyser Grill

The Grill is a quick service restaurant providing a menu of breakfast sandwiches, burgers and deli selections. Seating is available for 106 and the lounge area accommodates an additional 50 guests.  Open for breakfast lunch and dinner, the Geyser Grill also carries the western lodge ambiance throughout.

• May 16 - June 10, 2009  8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• June 11 - August 26, 2009  8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
• August 27 - October 17, 2009  10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• October 18 - November 1, 2009  11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Winter Dates & Hours of Operation:

• December 17, 2008 – January 4, 2009
• Lunch/Dinner- 10:30 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• January 5 - March 15 
• Lunch/Dinner- 10:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
