XANTERRA OFFERS CUSTOM TOURS IN YELLOWSTONE FOR VISITORS WITH SPECIFIC INTERESTS
YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – While the options for guided tours in Yellowstone National Park are varied enough to accommodate almost everyone’s interests, many people still want a tour customized to address specific topics.

Xanterra’s interpretive department will take the time to call the customer directly to discuss the focus, expectations and, subsequently, the specific itinerary of the tour. The guide and visitors can focus on topics such as history, wildlife, geology, thermal features, wildflowers, birds, photographic scenery or hiking. Once the visitors are in the park, the guides will pick up and return them to their lodging location.
The cost of the service includes a 12-passenger van, handicapped-accessible van, four-passenger vehicle or a 36-passenger bus. Xanterra guides will also provide narration in private vehicles, and custom tours are also available by boat on
Yellowstone
Lake .
Xanterra’s guides undergo extensive training and are expected to be well-versed in a wide range of park-related topics. They lead tours throughout the park on a regular basis. Rates for Xanterra’s custom tours are:
-$410 for the first five hours and $50 for each additional hour in a van holding up to 11 passengers
-$325 for the first five hours and $50 for each additional hour in a private car
-$660 for the first five hours and $60 for each additional hour in a 36-passenger bus
-$410 for the first five hours and $50 for each additional hour in a handicapped-accessible van holding eight passengers plus one person in a wheelchair
