GUIDED ADVENTURES IN YELLOWSTONE HELP VISITORS MOVE FROM SEEING TO EXPERIENCING THE PARK

April 05th, 2012

Few things in the West are as fascinating as the thermal features in Yellowstone National Park. Unless you’re observing its wildlife. Or learning its history. Or checking out its architecture.

“It is typical for first-time visitors to come to Yellowstone with ‘to-do-and-see’ list,” said Rick Hoeninghausen, director of sales and marketing for Xanterra Parks & Resorts in Yellowstone, operator of lodges, restaurants and activities. “But Yellowstone is so big and multi-faceted that there is always something new to see or do. Our adventure packages help visitors make the big leap from just seeing the park to experiencing it.”

This summer Xanterra in Yellowstone will offer three multi-day vacation packages designed to showcase popular Yellowstone attractions as well as get visitors to experience new places. In addition to well-planned itineraries, the packages offer the convenience of included lodging and services. The programs are enhanced with knowledgeable drivers/guides – certified by the National Association for Interpretation – who provide ongoing insight into the park’s geology, history, wildlife, plant life and more. Guides also help with other logistics to ensure the comfort of all participants.
Rates quoted do not include taxes, utility fee or gratuities.

This year’s “Adventure” packages include:
