ROOMS AT MAMMOTH HOT SPRINGS HOTEL AND OLD FAITHFUL SNOW LODGE IN YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK TO BE DISCOUNTED AT START OF WINTER SEASON
To kick off the winter season, Yellowstone National Park Lodges is offering special rates of $59 for rooms with shared bathrooms at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and $159 for lodge rooms at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge.
The rates are available for a limited number of rooms Dec. 20-23, 2011 at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Dec. 18-23, 2011 at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge.
The rates are non-refundable. Rates at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel are normally $87 for a room with a shared bathroom. Rates at the Snow Lodge are $206 for a lodge room.

Except for the road from Gardiner, Mont. to Cooke City, Mont. via Mammoth Hot Springs, transportation within the park is limited to snowmobiles and enclosed heated snowcoaches during the winter. Snowcoach transportation is available daily to a variety of park locations. Xanterra also offers a wide range of half- and full-day snowcoach, ski and snowshoe tours and ski and snowshoe rentals as well as expert instruction and other services.
