In the winter access to Old Faithful Snow Lodge is by over-the-snow vehicles only. You can make reservations for a snow coach by calling 866 GEYSERLAND (866-439-7375). Snowcoaches to Old Faithful depart from Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, West Yellowstone and Flagg Ranch.

Description

Join an interpretive guide on a half day, afternoon snowshoe tour away from the immediate Old Faithful Area. This tour is more strenuous, as you will snowshoe up and down hills to view Grand Prismatic Spring from above. You will also have the opportunity to view wildlife and other thermal areas. A drink and snack at the end of the day is included. No snowshoe experience is necessary, but you will need to be comfortable walking up to five miles, traveling both up and down hills.
