Bison continue to roam the area between Mammoth and Gardiner. It's easy to see them right now, as they're often near the roads.

There has been lots of wildlife activity between Mammoth and Gardiner, MT recently!

Mornings have been filled with opportunities to see pronghorn, elk, and more.

Wolves have been sighted regularly between the Mammoth Campground and the 45th Parallel.

Bison calves are arriving too! It's always a joy to see the young ones.

A baby bison was born behind the Mammoth Cabins near the trailhead for the Beaver Ponds Trail.

 

Mother and baby headed up the road to join the other bison.

 

After they rested Mom escorted the new baby up the Old Gardiner Road to join the rest of the bison.
