Xanterra’s mission is to provide Legendary

Hospitalitywith a Softer Footprint, andwe take our

role in environmental stewardship very seriously.

Through our Ecologix program, we incorporate

sustainablepractices inall aspectsof our operations

to reduce the impacts from fossil fuel consumption

and work to educate our employees and guests on

their individual environmental responsibility. During

your stay, you can participate in this environmental

commitment by helping us protect Yellowstone in

the following ways:

Recycle:

For your convenience, we offer recycling containers

for plastic, paper, glass, cardboard, steel, and

aluminum in all of our guest rooms. Recycling bins

are also located at campgrounds and public areas

throughout the park. With help from visitors like

you, last yearwe recyclednearly twomillionpounds

of material and diverted more than 70% of our

waste from entering local landfills!

Choose Green:

When shopping in our retail gift shops, look for our

“Sustain theEarth” logowhichdesignates products

that aremore environmentally friendly. Andbe sure

to use a reusable bag and a reusablewater bottle (if

you left yours at home, we have affordable options

for you)! Our restaurants also offer a variety of

sustainable choices including locally produced

products and Rainforest Alliance certified coffee.

Conserve Energy:

When staying in the park’s guest rooms, take

advantage of the linen reuse program and be sure

to turn off lights and heat when you leave the room.

Be Green at Home:

Stewardship does not end at

the national park borders. You can help protect

Yellowstone and other national parks from the

impacts of climate change and pollution by

continuing these environmental practices at home.

Formore information onXanterra’s commitment to

environmental sustainability, we inviteyou to review
