Xanterra Parks & Resorts in Yellowstone National Park will offer three multi-day vacation packages this summer designed to showcase popular Yellowstone attractions as well as get visitors to experience new places.
All packages include four or five nights of lodging, meals, in-park transportation and a variety of adventures and activities. The packages are enhanced with knowledgeable drivers/guides who provide a narrative covering the park’s geology, history, wildlife, plant life and more. Guides also help with other logistics to ensure the comfort of all participants.

This year’s “Adventure” packages include:
Offered beginning each Saturday June 4- Oct. 1, 2011, the Yellowstone Couples package features five nights of lodging at the Old Faithful Inn, meals, one welcome gift per adult, in-park transportation in a Historic Yellow Bus, baggage handling and guided hikes. The yellow buses have been an iconic symbol of Yellowstone for decades.
This package is not limited to couples, and individuals are welcome to participate. Rates are $1,669 per person based upon double occupancy.
This package is offered each Tuesday and Saturday June 14 – Sept. 3, 2011 and includes four nights of lodging (one each at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, Canyon Lodge, Grant Village and Old Faithful Snow Lodge), meals, one welcome gift per adult, in-park transportation with a driver/guide, a Scenicruise on Yellowstone Lake, an Old West Dinner cookout at Roosevelt Lodge via guided wagon ride and baggage handling.
Rates are $1,259 per person for double occupancy or $1,574 per person for single occupancy. The minimum age for this package is 12 years old.
The Total Yellowstone package is offered Sundays June 5 – Aug. 28, 2011 and emphasizes fun activities in the park. This package features five nights lodging (three at Old Faithful Snow Lodge, one at Canyon Lodge and one at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel), meals, one welcome gift per adult, in-park transportation with a driver/guide, a Scenicruise on Yellowstone Lake, a horseback ride or tour of the Mammoth Terraces for the June 5 program or a stagecoach ride for all of the other programs, a photo memento CD and baggage handling.
Rates are $1,159 per person for double occupancy, $1,596 per person for single occupancy and $465 per child age 8-11. The minimum age for this package is participation is eight years old.
In addition to Summer Adventure Packages, Xanterra offers eight Lodging & Learning programs in the park. Offered in partnership with the non-profit Yellowstone Association Institute (YAI), these programs include lodging, in-park transportation, all breakfasts and lunches, one dinner per person and expert instruction provided by a Yellowstone Association Institute naturalist guide. Xanterra and YAI have created Lodging & Learning programs for groups with specific interests.
