Summer Lodges

Summer Lodges at Yellowstone

With nine lodging facilities offering over 2,000 rooms, accommodations in Yellowstone National Park are plentiful for those wishing to experience the national park in its summertime glory. From the most famous lodging facility in a national park—the Old Faithful Inn—to the ol’ western rustic cabins of Roosevelt Lodge, guests will find an incredible variety of places to bunker down for the night.

As part of our commitment to provide a safe environment for our employees and customers, we have made the decision to require all visitors to wear face coverings while in the indoor public areas of our facilities and in outdoor areas where proper distancing is not possible. These areas include, but are not limited to lobbies, hallways, gift shops, restaurants, offices, indoor/outdoor queueing lines, and sightseeing vehicles and boats. We thank you for your understanding and compliance.

At this time, a limited number of rooms are open at: Lake Hotel (Standard rooms), Canyon Lodge (Standard, Superior, Suites), Old Faithful Snow Lodge (Premium rooms), and Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel (Premium rooms starting July 17), and Old Faithful Inn (East Wing Premium, Superior, and Suites starting July 24). In addition, cabins with private bath are open at: Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel, Old Faithful Lodge, Old Faithful Snow Lodge, Lake Yellowstone Hotel, Lake Lodge, Canyon Lodge.  Note: the lobby of the Old Faithful Inn will remain closed. Grant Village and Roosevelt Lodge are currently closed but may reopen in 2020 if conditions allow.

Campgrounds are open at: Madison, Bridge Bay, Grant Village, and Canyon. Due to public health guidelines, campground shower facilities are not available until further notice. Fishing Bridge RV Park will remain closed through fall of 2021.

Opening and closing dates are subject to change based on future conditions and public health guidance.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Yellowstone National Park is an authentic American experience, which should keep every guest and visitor deeply engaged and spending time exploring the park. With this in mind, we do not have televisions, wireless internet or radios in the rooms or cabins, but telephones are available in most hotel and lodge rooms. Cabins do not have telephones.

The daily high temperatures in Yellowstone rarely exceed the low-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Because “it’s a dry heat,” hotels and cabins do not have air conditioning; however, fans are provided. Accessible accommodations are available. Please note that all park accommodations are non-smoking.
