YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, November 23, 2015 – Yellowstone National Park Lodges is offering a special package this winter that features savings of up to 20 percent and includes overnight accommodations in Old Faithful Snow Lodge as well as a variety of winter-season experiences, breakfast each morning and a discount card for additional savings.

The Frosty Fun at Old Faithful package includes a minimum of two nights of lodging, breakfast for each person for each night’s stay, welcome gift, unlimited ice skating and skates, round-trip snowcoach transportation from Mammoth Hot Spring Hotel near the northern entrance to the park and a Snow Card good for 10 percent off meals, additional in-park transportation, tours, ski shop services and select retail items. Guests who purchase the Frosty Fun at Old Faithful package or any other winter package also receive a 25 percent discount on the daily airport shuttle from the Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport to Mammoth.

Rates for the Frosty Fun package start at $425 per person for double occupancy and $649 for single occupancy. Taxes and utility fees are not included in the rate.

“This is the best deal in the park during the winter season, and at the moment there is plenty of availability, especially in January on the weekends, including Martin Luther King Day weekend,” said Rick Hoeninghausen, director of sales and marketing for Yellowstone National Park Lodges. “With the National Park Service centennial in 2016, guests can kick off this special year with an early visit to the world’s first national park.”

Guests who arrive from the south, east or west entrances will require a permitted third-party transportation provider as Yellowstone National Park Lodges does not provide snowcoach transportation from those gates. In those cases, guests will be booked on a package that does not include Xanterra transportation. Reservations for, and costs of third-party transportation service providers is not included in the package and is the responsibility of the guest.

Because of the timing of the airport shuttle, guests who fly to Bozeman and arrive at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel will also need to book a lodge room in that hotel for the nights before and after the package dates. Special package rates apply to Mammoth Hotel as well.

Except for the road from Gardiner, Mont. to Cooke City, Mont. via Mammoth Hot Springs, transportation within the park is limited to snowmobiles and enclosed heated snowcoaches during the winter. Snowcoach transportation is available daily to a variety of park locations. Xanterra also offers a wide range of half- and full-day snowcoach, ski and snowshoe tours and ski and snowshoe rentals as well as expert instruction and other services.

Winter Getaway and Adventure packages may be booked by phone by calling (1) 307-344-7311 or by submitting the secure online package reservation request form found on the website.
