The largest log structure in the world
2014 Dates – Opens: May 9, 2014 | Closes: October 12, 2014
As a national historic landmark, Old Faithful Inn is the most requested lodging facility in the park. Built in 1903-1904 with local logs and stone, the Inn is considered the largest log structure in the world. The towering lobby features a massive stone fireplace and a hand-crafted clock made of copper, wood and wrought iron serving as focal points. With 327 rooms, the Old Faithfull Inn is open from early May until mid-October and features a full-service restaurant, lounge, snack bar, gift shop and daily tours.
Facility projects will be occurring during the Summer 2014 season. By nature, construction projects can impact the appearance of the area and create noise during the day. We apologize for any inconvenience to our guests.
• Old Faithful Inn: The building will be undergoing a roofing project throughout this summer. This project will begin in June with completion anticipated by the end of the summer season.
