Guided Fishing Charter

Yellowstone Lake is home to native Cutthroat Trout and the non-native Lake Trout. It is the largest lake above 7,000ft in North America, with lots of beautiful scenery and interesting history. Charter Guide Boats are available in 2-hour blocks throughout the day. The captains can take you to where the fish are biting, or if you prefer, provide a custom tour to areas of Yellowstone Lake that few people ever get to see.

Outstanding trip

Aug 23, 2016 by James V.

We took a long day (7 hours) with full boat. Our guide Arden was knowledgable, patient and enthusiastic guiding five adults with various amounts of fishing experience and an eight year old. We ate Lake Trout for DAYS. Every single person on the boat that day was very happy. We had great weather on top of it.

Michael knows his stuff, put us on Lake Trout on or second pass. We continued to catch fish (including two Cut Throat) all afternoon! Finally ended up with 9 Lake Trout, 3 of which were really nice 4 pounders for our 4 hour trip. My 4 & 6 year old grandsons caught their very first fish that day and our guide Michael made it all possible. Highly recommend you reserve a trip and you can't go wrong requesting Michael as your guide!

So nice, had to do it twice!

My family of four, including two children ages seven and eleven, booked an early morning fishing charter. Our guide, Steve, was enthusiastic, kind and extremely patient, teaching all of us, and especially our children, about fishing for lake and cutthroat trout. That morning we caught 5 lake trout, which we took to the hotel and they served it to us, blackened and family style, for lunch. So delicious!

We enjoyed our morning trip so much that we booked a second trip for that evening. And what would a fishing trip be without our expert guide, Steve? During our afternoon trip we caught 4-5 cutthroat and hybrid trout.

The next time we visit the area, we\'ll definitely go fishing again, and hope that Steve will be available to make our trip a great one once again!
