Guided Fishing Charter

Yellowstone Lake is home to native Cutthroat Trout and the non-native Lake Trout. It is the largest lake above 7,000ft in North America, with lots of beautiful scenery and interesting history. Charter Guide Boats are available in 2-hour blocks throughout the day. The captains can take you to where the fish are biting, or if you prefer, provide a custom tour to areas of Yellowstone Lake that few people ever get to see.

So nice, had to do it twice!

Jul 28, 2015 by Amy Durst

My family of four, including two children ages seven and eleven, booked an early morning fishing charter. Our guide, Steve, was enthusiastic, kind and extremely patient, teaching all of us, and especially our children, about fishing for lake and cutthroat trout. That morning we caught 5 lake trout, which we took to the hotel and they served it to us, blackened and family style, for lunch. So delicious!

We enjoyed our morning trip so much that we booked a second trip for that evening. And what would a fishing trip be without our expert guide, Steve? During our afternoon trip we caught 4-5 cutthroat and hybrid trout.

The next time we visit the area, we\'ll definitely go fishing again, and hope that Steve will be available to make our trip a great one once again!

Tried to book a fishing guide. AFTER the form that had to have my credit card info was submitted, the notice says they will book whatever time they want to and charge me. That's just wrong!

Response: Thanks for your review and your interest in our guide boats. We're sorry for the misunderstanding. We do note at the top of the initial request form that we will find and reserve the requested time if available, or the closest time otherwise, for you and send you a confirmation. In the paragraph below we explain that we don't charge your credit card, though we use it to secure the reservation. Again, we're sorry for the misunderstanding. If we can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
