The newest and most unique way to visit the world’s first national park, our Yellowstone Signature Experience offers a comprehensive and extended experience of all the best that Yellowstone has to offer. Each day will combine viewing of iconic vistas and/or spectacular wildlife with tailored meals, culturally significant events, and leisure and times for relaxation. Espying the critters in Lamar and Hayden Valleys, crossing Yellowstone Lake by boat, allowing the Lower Falls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River to speak to you, appreciating the “first Americans” who experienced this wonderland, geysers, hot springs, food, drink, and historic hotels – we’re happy to put our signature on this experience!
Six amazing days exploring the intimate areas of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem on historic buses, stagecoaches, and a modern minibus, your days will end early enough for time to enjoy historic and famous hotels, eat from a menu specialized for this adventure, shop, and enjoy a cocktail and a comfortable chair.
Most sightings of wildlife occur at a distance; your guide will provide high-powered spotting scopes and binoculars for viewing.
Activity Level – Optional hikes potentially totaling up to 3 miles per day with elevation gains up to 600 feet.
Guests will check into Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel at your leisure after 4 p.m. and are welcome to dine any time after 5:30 p.m.
Our guide will host a meet and greet at 8 p.m. in the Mammoth Hotel conference room to provide an overview of the itinerary, answer questions, provide weather updates, and expert tips for maximizing your time in Yellowstone.

Our group will depart from Mammoth in a Historic Yellow Bus to the Geyser Basins! We’ll travel to Gibbon Falls, Madison, Firehole Canyon Drive, Fountain Paint Pots, and Midway enjoying a picnic lunch on the way to the Old Faithful area.
You’ll check in and have plenty of time to explore Old Faithful and the surrounding area before dinner.

After breakfast and a private tour of the historic Old Faithful Inn, we’ll board the Historic Yellow Bus and head south toward Grant Village Marina where you’ll board our Grady White boats and head over to the Bridge Bay Marina for an amazing boat experience on Yellowstone Lake.
Then, a quick ride over to Lake Hotel for lunch and an afternoon seeing the LeHardy Rapids, Fishing Bridge, and some free time to explore the area.
Your stay at Lake Hotel includes plenty of time for a beverage in the sunroom prior to dinner in the incredible Lake Hotel Dining Room, in preparation for an evening Lake Butte Sunset tour.

After breakfast in the Lake Hotel Dining Room, our guide will escort you onto the Historic Yellow Bus for another day of exploration and sightseeing through the Mud Volcano, Hayden Valley, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, arriving at the Roosevelt Lodge for lunch not far from where Teddy Roosevelt used to camp.
We’ll load back up and head for the Undine Falls and stop at the Terraces in Mammoth Hot Springs for some time to explore and have some free time as you check into the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and perhaps visit the iconic Roosevelt Arch!
Our guide will host you to a beverage and quick tour in the Map Room before heading over to the Dining Room for dinner.

We’ll be leaving early for the best opportunity to see wildlife in Lamar Valley! With stops along the way to view the iconic megafauna and other wildlife through “America’s Serengeti” and the Lamar River, heading toward Cooke City for a picnic lunch before returning to Mammoth Hot Springs after spending more time through Lamar Valley.
You’ll enjoy some time exploring Fort Yellowstone, take a walk along the Terraces, or relax in the Map Room before a special dinner and gathering (perhaps a campfire with smores?) to celebrate the last evening of the tour.
You are confirmed for a late checkout, because we are headed back to Roosevelt Lodge to meet up with the wranglers for a historic stagecoach tour complete with cowboy coffee and a guide providing the amazing details of expeditions, adventures, characters, and the area’s noted historical and natural significance.
Then back to Mammoth where we’ll bid each other farewell and tip our hats to a truly unique Yellowstone Signature Experience!
