Yellowstone National Park Lodges will be moving to a contactless payment platform. This provides an easier, faster, and more secure way to pay at our retail, restaurant, and lodging locations throughout the park.

2026 ENTRANCE FEES & PASSES

The National Park Service (NPS) is rolling out updates to entrance fees and passes starting January 1, 2026. These changes will affect all visitors to Yellowstone National Park, including our guests with lodge and/or activity reservations.

  • America the Beautiful Passes will cover entrance fees for up to two motorcycles.
  • A new America the Beautiful Pass for nonresidents of the U.S. will be available for $250. All other America the Beautiful passes will only be available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
  • Entrance fee-free days will only apply to U.S. citizens and residents. Nonresidents will be required to pay entrance fees and applicable nonresident fees.
  • Yellowstone National Park will have a nonresident fee of $100 for each person (16 and over) who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

ROAD AND OPERATIONAL UPDATES AND CLOSURES

Winter weather may affect travel to and in Yellowstone National Park. With the exception of the northeast entrance road, all interior park roads are closed to personal vehicles. Park roads may close intermittently due to severe weather, including heavy snow and ice.

WINTER TRAVEL INFORMATION

The National Park Service provides information regarding road updates and authorized winter tour providers. The only road generally open year-round to regular personal vehicles is from the North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana, through the park to Cooke City, Montana (via Tower Junction). All other roads in the park are closed to regular vehicles starting November 1st. We offer winter shuttles from Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel to Old Faithful Snow Lodge, as well as an airport shuttle from Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel to Bozeman International Airport for our lodge guests.
