The National Park Service (NPS) is rolling out updates to entrance fees and passes starting January 1, 2026. These changes will affect all visitors to Yellowstone National Park, including our guests with lodge and/or activity reservations.

Winter weather may affect travel to and in Yellowstone National Park. With the exception of the northeast entrance road, all interior park roads are closed to personal vehicles. Park roads may close intermittently due to severe weather, including heavy snow and ice.

Guests staying at the Old Faithful Inn in the West Wing in 2026 may experience some construction noise due to the National Park Service (NPS) efforts to rehabilitate a historic building nearby.

The National Park Service provides information regarding road updates and authorized winter tour providers. The only road generally open year-round to regular personal vehicles is from the North Entrance at Gardiner, Montana, through the park to Cooke City, Montana (via Tower Junction). All other roads in the park are closed to regular vehicles starting November 1st. We offer winter shuttles from Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel to Old Faithful Snow Lodge, as well as an airport shuttle from Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel to Bozeman International Airport for our lodge guests.
