Limited Electricity Supply at Fishing Bridge RV Park

Fishing Bridge RV Park has limited supply of electric current available to our sites.  During particularly hot days, many of our guest choose to run their air conditioners which may cause a burden to our system.  Please be aware that temporary power outages may occur.  To be prepared,  you may bring a generator to use during the non-restricted hours.

Old Faithful Inn West Wing Rooms

Guests staying in the Old Faithful Inn West Wing in 2026 may experience construction noise due to the National Park Service’s (NPS) efforts to rehabilitate a nearby historic building.

Additionally, a roofing project will begin on the West Wing starting October 1, 2026. Guests staying between October 1st and 12th may encounter construction noise during the daytime.

ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS - Impacting travel in the park

ROAD STRIPING – SOUTHERN LOOP

Crews will be working to complete remaining road striping for the season beginning Tuesday, September 22
Planned areas include:

• Canyon Junction to Norris Junction
• Norris Junction to Gibbon Meadows
• West Yellowstone to Madison Junction

Please use caution when traveling through active work areas and watch for crews and equipment.

FISHING BRIDGE TO BRIDGE BAY MARINA – GRAND LOOP ROAD

Expect delays of up to 15 minutes through November 1, 2026, while crews perform bridge work. Please drive slowly and watch for crews working in the area.

YELLOWSTONE RIVER BRIDGE

Expect up to 30-minute delays on the Yellowstone River Bridge, near Tower Junction, while crews perform paving operations through November 2026. Dates and times are subject to change based on weather. The Yellowstone River Bridge is on the NE Entrance Road. Traffic to and from the NE Entrance Gate to Tower Junction will be impacted.

GARDNER RIVER HIGH BRIDGE

The bridge is located 0.5 miles southeast of Mammoth Hot Springs toward Tower Junction. This construction project includes structural repairs, joint replacement, painting, and new concrete guard walls to extend the bridge’s service life.

Travel impacts will include:

• Traffic will be reduced to a single 10-foot-wide travel lane with alternating flow controlled by a signal through Sept. 30, 2026, after which the single lane width will return to 12.5 feet.
• No oversized/overweight vehicles. Oversized or overweight vehicles cannot cross the bridge while barriers are in place. This includes vehicles over 8’6″ wide, over 75′ long, and/or over 80,000 lbs GVW.
• Delays of up to 15 minutes are expected 24 hours a day.
• Speed limit: 15 mph. Rangers will be monitoring speeds on the bridge.
• Construction runs from April to late October 2026, pauses for winter, and resumes mid‑March/early April 2027, with completion expected in October 2027.

Please plan routes and schedules accordingly, allow extra travel time, proceed slowly, and watch for construction crews.

CONTACTLESS / CASHLESS PAYMENTS

Yellowstone National Park Lodges operates on a contactless/cashless payment platform. This provides an easier, faster, and more secure way to pay at our retail, restaurant, and lodging locations throughout the park.

2026 ENTRANCE FEES & PASSES

The National Park Service (NPS) is rolling out updates to entrance fees and passes starting January 1, 2026. These changes will affect all visitors to Yellowstone National Park, including our guests with lodge and/or activity reservations.

• America the Beautiful Passes will cover entrance fees for up to two motorcycles.
• A new America the Beautiful Pass for nonresidents of the U.S. will be available for $250. All other America the Beautiful passes will only be available to U.S. citizens and permanent residents.
• Entrance fee-free days will only apply to U.S. citizens and residents. Nonresidents will be required to pay entrance fees and applicable nonresident fees.
• Yellowstone National Park will have a nonresident fee of $100 for each person (16 and over) who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

WINTER TRAVEL INFORMATION

Winter weather may affect travel to and in Yellowstone National Park. With the exception of the northeast entrance road, all interior park roads are closed to personal vehicles. Park roads may close intermittently due to severe weather, including heavy snow and ice.
