Enjoy a historical tour of Pleasant Valley in a horse-drawn wagon to the site of Uncle John Yancey’s Hotel, which welcomed guests from 1884 to 1906. At the hotel site, where the foundation stones can still be found, enjoy hot coffee, tea, or juice, a morning snack, and a campfire while hearing stories of this unique corner of Yellowstone and its part in the early exploration of the area. Then load back on the wagons and enjoy the leisurely trip back through the beautiful valley while your guide shares information about the flora and fauna of the area. This two-hour tour will take you back in time to the stagecoach and wagon era of the mountain west, and hopefully you’ll learn a thing or two along the way!
