In winter, Mammoth is the only visitor accommodations in Yellowstone accessible by automobile and is a hub for snowy adventures, offering access to incredible wildlife watching, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating and a launching point for over-snow explorations of the park’s interior. Services and activities are plentiful and designed to maximize winter recreation and exploration. Located near the North Entrance, Mammoth Hotel elevation is approximately 6200 feet and is open from December to March.

Standard hotel rooms are simple yet comfortable rooms with a telephone, shower or tub/shower, sink and toilet. Usually two queen beds are included. Televisions, radios, and air conditioning are not available in park lodging.
Rooms without bath are similar in décor to rooms with bath and include two queen beds. Shared bathrooms with private showers are available down the hall. Televisions, radios, and air conditioning are not available in park lodging.
There are four hot tub cabins that are similar to Frontier Cabins, but each unit features a private 6-person hot tub within a fenced enclosure. A shower, toilet and sink are included. No telephones. The hot tub cabins each have one queen bed. Televisions, radios, and air conditioning are not available in park lodging.
Suite includes one private bedroom with two queen beds and a sitting room with couch, single trundle bed, chairs, telephone and TV. There are only two suites available. Radios, and air conditioning not available.

Airport Shuttle from Bozeman-Yellowstone International Airport
We now offer a daily shuttle (winter season only) from the Bozeman Airport to/from Yellowstone. You can reserve your seat(s) when making your lodging reservations by phone. More information is located here, or ask the reservations agent when you call to book your stay.
