The Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Cabins, named after the huge terraced springs located nearby, offers a warm welcome to winter guests. The hotel was completely renovated in 2019, still embracing its early 20th century roots in décor and ambience, but with modern-day touches. All rooms are accessible by elevator. The hotel’s signature Map Room is perfect for evenings of conversation and board games with family and friends, often with the accompaniment of live piano music. It’s hard to beat Mammoth as a convenient location for accessing the wildlife-rich Northern Range and Lamar Valley. In winter, daily guided tours depart from Mammoth Hotel to popular in-park hot spots like, Lamar Valley, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Old Faithful, and more. The Bear Den ski shop, located in the gift shop, offers equipment, lessons, tips, and tours for cross-country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts. If that’s not enough, an outdoor skating rink (weather depending) with complimentary skates for guests is just behind the hotel in the cabin area.
The suites feature 2 Queen beds in the bedroom, separate sitting room, full bathroom, safe, refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks and snacks, microwave, coffee maker, telephone, alarm clock, hair dryer, and fan. Mammoth Hotel suites are the only in-park rooms with satellite television. All rooms in the hotel are accessible by elevator. There is no air conditioning or radio, and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. All rooms and cabins are non-smoking/non-vaping.
The deluxe rooms feature 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, or 2 Queens, full bathroom with shower or tub/shower, safe, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, telephone, alarm clock, hair dryer, and fan. All rooms in the hotel are accessible by elevator. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio, and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. All rooms and cabins are non-smoking/non-vaping.
Four hot tub cabins are located behind the main hotel. The hot tub cabins feature 1 Queen bed, full bathroom with shower, coffee maker, telephone, alarm clock, hair dryer, and fan. The hot tub is located in an enclosed fenced patio. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio, and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. All rooms and cabins are non-smoking/non-vaping.
